Dear reader, POPE FRANCIS 1936 – 2025 – RIP
Pope Francis passed away peacefully in the early hours of the morning, the day after Easter. After resting on Sunday and having a quiet dinner, he showed signs of illness around 5:30 am. An hour later, he made a final gesture of farewell before falling into a coma. His death was discreet and without suffering, in keeping with his private nature. Just the day before, he had given his final Apostolic Blessing, remaining close to the faithful with whom he had promised to walk since his election on March 13, 2013.                                    Book of Condolence https://www.dioceseofleeds.org.uk/book-of-condolence/

“Surrexit Dominus vere, alleluia!” Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! Alleluia!

In the radiant joy of the Resurrection, I greet you with the love and hope that flow from the empty tomb. This holy day, which dawns brighter than any other, bursts forth with divine promise: that life has triumphed over death, mercy over sin, and hope over despair.
